Dilip Kumar had tremendous screen presence. 
He had his distinct style of dialogue delivery too. 
Even Amitabh was in his awe. 

Ramesh Sippy once told, Amitabh took 20 retakes in a particular scene where he was supposed to speak dialogues while looking into Dilip Kumar’s eyes.
Amitabh said later he would just forget his dialogues the moment he saw Dilip Kumar.
Some magnetic personalities.

Dilip was very careful in choosing films.That is why his total films nearly were less than 100 only in 50 years of his career.
Films he refused are following upon which he regretted later-Lawrence of Arabia (Omar Sharif’s role), Pyasa, Mother India and Sangam. 
Nevertheless; it did not reduce his aura and effect in the film industry. 

He was a devoted husband too.Salute to the tragedy king !!
