A wave of devotion and spiritual fervour swept across India on Friday as millions celebrated Ram Navami, marking the birth anniversary of Lord Ram. From Ayodhya to Puri, and Patna to Belagavi, temples overflowed with devotees, while chants, rituals, and processions created a vibrant spiritual atmosphere nationwide.In Ayodhya, the epicentre of celebrations, lakhs of devotees gathered at the revered Ram Janmabhoomi. Pilgrims began arriving as early as 3 a.m., taking holy dips in the Saryu River, believed to cleanse sins. The city transformed into a sea of faith, with continuous chants and celebrations echoing through its streets.

A similar spiritual spectacle unfolded in Prayagraj, where devotees thronged the sacred Triveni Sangam for ritual baths during Brahma Muhurat, seeking blessings and spiritual purification.In Patna, thousands visited the iconic Mahavir Temple, while in Puri, special rituals and unique adornments of Lord Ram drew large crowds.In Belagavi, the festival was celebrated with grandeur and cultural enthusiasm. Colourful processions featuring tableaux of Lord Rama moved through the streets, accompanied by music, dance, and devotional songs. People of all ages participated in the celebrations, creating a festive atmosphere marked by unity and joy.
Speaking on the occasion, a devotee, Balaram Barik, shared his sentiments: “Today, I have come to seek the blessings of Lord Shri Ramchandra Ji and Ram Lala. This sacred day is a matter of pride for Sanatan Dharma, as the birth anniversary of Lord Ram is being celebrated not just in Ayodhya but across the entire country. There is immense excitement, spiritual energy, and joy within us. It feels wonderful to witness such devotion everywhere.”
The celebrations extended beyond temples. In Jammu, a grand Shobha Yatra was organised, while the Vaishno Devi Temple saw a massive influx of pilgrims during Chaitra Navratri, with lakhs visiting the shrine in recent days.

Ram Navami, commemorating the birth of Lord Ram considered the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu holds immense significance in Hindu tradition. Devotees marked the day with Ramayana recitations, bhajans, and prayers, seeking peace, prosperity, and spiritual strength.Across the country, the essence remained the same—deep faith, collective celebration, and a renewed connection with values of righteousness and harmony.
