Shardiya Navratri: Pancham Skandmata

5th day is the day of worship of Skandamata. Mother, who opens the doors of salvation, is the ultimate giver of happiness and fulfills all the wishes of her devotees.Lord Skanda is also known by the name 'Kumar Kartikeya'. He became the commander of the gods in the famous Devasur battle. In the Puranas, his glory has been described by calling him Kumar and Shaktidhar. Being the mother of Lord Skanda, this fifth form of Mother Durga is known as Skandamata.
Form-
Skandamata has four arms. The lower arm on his right side, which is raised upwards, has a lotus flower in it. The upper arm on the left side is in Varamudra and the lower arm which is raised upwards also has a lotus flower. Mother's complexion is completely fair. She sits on a lotus seat. For this reason she is also called Padmasana Devi. Leo is their vehicle.
The fifth day of Navratri worship has been described as having great significance in the scriptures. All the external actions and mental tendencies of the seeker whose mind is situated in this chakra disappear. He starts moving towards the form of pure consciousness.
The seeker becomes free from all worldly and worldly bondages and gets completely engrossed in the form of Padmasana Maa Skandmata. At this time the seeker should proceed towards worship with full caution. He should proceed on the path of spiritual practice by keeping all his meditation activities concentrated.
By worshiping Mother Skandamata, all the wishes of the devotee are fulfilled. He starts experiencing ultimate peace and happiness. For him the door of salvation automatically becomes accessible.
Worship of mother also leads to worship of child-like Lord Skanda. Only these people have this specialty, hence the seeker should pay special attention towards the worship of Skandmata.
Being the presiding deity of the solar system, her worshiper becomes blessed with supernatural light and radiance. 
A supernatural aura surrounds her in an invisible sense. This aura keeps discharging her Yogakshema.
We should concentrate and try to take refuge in Mother by keeping our mind pure. There is no better way than this to get relief from the sorrows of this terrible world and make the path to salvation accessible.
The verse for worship is as follows. To get devotion to Maa Jagadambe, it should be chanted.
Ya devi Sarvbhuteshu Maa Skandmata rupen sanstitha.
Namastesyaye Namastesyaye Namastesyaye Namo Namah.
-Hey mother ! Ambe, who is present everywhere and is famous as Skandamata, I salute you again and again. Oh Mother, liberate me from all sins. On this day the mind of the seeker is situated in 'Vishuddhi' chakra. In his idol, Lord Skandji is sitting in his lap in child form.
