Shardiya Navratri: Mata Siddhidatri

Mata Siddhidatri is the last among the Navdurgas on the ninth date of Navratri, the festival of Goddess worship. During Navratri, while worshiping the other eight Durgas on the basis of classical rituals, the devotees worship Mata Siddhidatri on the day of Gan Navami. After worshiping the Mother properly, the worshiper attains all kinds of desires, worldly and beyond.       
The reality is that the devotees who deserve the blessings of Mata Siddhidatri do not have any desire left in their mind which they want to achieve. That is, by rising above all kinds of worldly matters, meditating at the feet of the Mother, he gets away from other sorrows.
Mother's form -
According to the Puranas, Lord Shankar had received half the body of a goddess by the grace of Mother Siddhidatri. That is why Lord Shiva is also called Ardhanarishwar.
Mother has four arms. His vehicle is a lion and his seat is on a lotus flower. In the lower right hand there is a chakra and a lotus flower.
Method of worship -
On this day, Mother Goddess should be worshiped as per the rituals. According to the days mentioned earlier, one should worship the Mother Goddess with all the classical methods and with complete devotion. Through this the seeker attains all kinds of attainments. The idol of Mother Goddess should be installed on a wooden platform and worshiped properly. Mata Siddhidatri bestows all types of achievements as per her name.
According to Markandeya Purana, these siddhis are of eight types, and in Brahma Vaivarta Purana the number of these siddhis is stated to be 18.
Mother's enjoyment
Navamyan Lajmambaayai Charpayitva Dwijay Cha.
Datva sukhadhiko bhuyaadih loke paratra cha.

That is, after offering lava to Mother Bhagwati on Navami day, by donating lava to a Brahmin also, the worshiper remains happy in all the worlds.   
By worshiping the form of Goddess Bhagwati mentioned above and performing the rituals properly, the seeker gets salvation.
