Samajwadi Party releases ad on Twitter for Madhya Pradesh bypolls

The Samajwadi Party has released an advertisement on Twitter, asking candidates who are interested in contesting Madhya Pradesh bypolls to send applications on a WhatsApp number.

The advertisement has been posted by the party’s Madhya Pradesh unit on its Twitter handle.

“Important announcement for Madhya Pradesh Assembly bypolls. Samajwadi Party leaders, workers and office bearers who want a ticket for these bypolls should send application on WhatsApp to mobile number +91 75572 95555,” Samajwadi Party Madhya Pradesh tweeted on Wednesday.

 

 

The bypolls will be held for 28 seats in Madhya Pradesh will be held on November 3, the Election Commission announced last month. The results for these bypolls will be announced on November 10, along with the results for Bihar Assembly election, the commission had further said.

The Congress had won 27 out of 28 seats in the last state election in 2018. These bypolls have been necessitated due to death of three MLAs and resignation of 25 lawmakers from Congress.
