Salman Khan gets death threat again

Bollywood actor Salman Khan has allegedly received a death threat again along with a demand of Rs two crore following which the Mumbai police have registered an FIR against an unidentified person, an official on Wednesday. The Mumbai traffic police on Tuesday received an anonymous message, threatening the actor would be killed if he did not pay Rs two crore, the official said.
This is not the first time that Salman Khan has received a death threat. Earlier, in 2022, a letter threatening the actor was found on a bench near his residence. The actor also got an email allegedly sent by Goldy Brar in March 2023. In 2024, two unknown people attempted to trespass into Khan's farmhouse in Panvel using fake identities.
Salman Khan has in the past received death threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, apparently due to his involvement in the blackbuck hunting case in Rajasthan during the shooting of Hum Saath Saath Hain. Suspected members of the gang had opened fire outside the actor's Bandra home in April. The actor's security has been beefed up after the string of death threats.
