Kahin hogi dushmani ki nayi shuruvat to kahin aayegi purane rishton mein daraar

In &TV shows Atal, Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, and Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain, there will be new beginnings of enmity, and some old relationships will go through new challenges. About &TV’s Atal track, Krishan Bihari shares, “Atal (Vyom Thakkar) manages to escape from kidnappers, rushes towards Krishan Bihari (Ashutosh Kulkarni) and narrates the entire incident to him. At the Mohalla, an angry Krishan Bihari publicly reveals the traumatic experience suffered by Atal, Sada, and Prem. He interrogates everyone present and realizes that Tomar (Mahmood Hashmi) is conspicuously absent. Accusing Tomar of the kidnapping, Krishan Bihari confronts him. However, Tomar denies the allegations and insists that Krishan Bihari owes him an apology and vows to be his eternal enemy. Krishna Devi (Neha Joshi) counters Tomar's threat. Krishan Bihari expresses his fears to Krishna Devi about Tomar's role as a policeman and the potential danger to their children, emphasizing the need for caution. Meanwhile, Atal is distressed about the recent incident. Krishna Devi imparts a lesson on strength, encouraging him to be strong like a lion, even in challenging situations. Atal and his family receive a letter, piquing everyone's curiosity. Krishan Bihari reads the letter, revealing that Vimla (Prachitee Ahirrao), their daughter, has been unwell for two weeks, and her in-laws have asked her to return. Tearfully, Krishna Devi pleads to accompany him to bring their daughter back. They depart for Vimla's place, and Avadh (Rahul Jethwa) heads for an interview. In a shocking twist, Tomar, now back in his official policeman role, interrupts Avadh's interview. Tomar exploits the situation, accusing Avadh of wrongdoing and subsequently arresting him.”
About &TV’s Happu Ki Ultan Paltan track, Keshav shares, “Unsatisfied with the marriage between Kate (Gazal Sood) and Kamlesh (Sanjay Choudhary), Happu (Yogesh Tripathi) imposes numerous rules and regulations on them. He designates Malaika (Sonal Panwar) as their supervisor. Despite Rajesh's (Geetanjali Mishra) invitation to join her for the wedding festivities at her parents' house, Happu gives an excuse, claiming he must apprehend the gangster Shakal and attend a party hosted by the Minister. The following day, a picture from the Minister's party appears in the newspaper, and HCR (Hritik, Chamchi & Ranbir) gleefully present it to Rajesh, leading her to reprimand Happu. Beni (Vishwanath Chatterjee) smirks at Happu's predicament, provoking Happu to insult him. Disturbed, Beni retreats to his room, locking himself in. Rajesh, Bimlesh (Sapna Sikarwar), and Katori Amma (Himani Shivpuri) plead with him to come out through the window. Katori Amma prays to Kanha Ji to rectify Happu's actions, catching the attention of Keshav (Vedaant Saluja), who observes with a smile.” About &TV’s Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain track, Anita Bhabi shares, “Angoori (Shubhangi Atre) is hurt by the realisation that everyone is taking her for granted. When Angoori confides in Vibhuti (Aasif Sheikh) about this, he dismisses the conversation, intensifying her misery. Ansh Bagri: I really changed my personality to be able to be part of 'Baghin'

There are some characters that transform you as a person, and for actor Ansh Bagri, that role is the one he plays in the show Baghin. The actor plays the role of Deva in the show and says that it is very different from what he has played before.“The last TV show I did was Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji. And after that, in 2020, the lockdown happened. Following that, I worked on two feature films that are yet to be released. Due to those films, I couldn't take on any television projects. During that break, I participated in a web series called Love Ka Panga with Asha Negi, which aired on Hungama. When I got the offer for Baghin last year, I was the first one to finalise my participation. After that, they were searching for a girl, and we conducted numerous mock shoots with various actresses. Eventually, they selected the final actress. Meanwhile, I had four or five months, and I was fully committed to this show. During that time, I began working on my character because my role is situated in the jungle and requires a rugged appearance. I started growing my hair and focused on my physique since there were scenes requiring a bare chest. My introduction in the show involves being bare-chested, which was crucial, and fortunately, I had sufficient time. I dedicated almost four months to developing my character and working on my physique. I have also trained in martial arts because the series includes fight sequences, and I've dedicated a lot of time to that. I engaged in intense workouts, incorporating cardio, weight training, and martial arts classes.” he says.
He adds, “I'm playing a character called Deva, and he is always out in the sun and doesn't care about how he looks. During this process, I started tanning myself. This character is very heavy on emotions and very different. While playing this character, I really changed my personality. It actually automatically changed my personality and actual look because I started thinking like Deva in everything, and the way he looks and all, it's very different. I've never done anything like this before. I hope the audience will enjoy Deva's emotion, dimension, looks, long hair, and everything. ‘Baghin’ is a very unique title, and I hope it attracts the audience.”
Meanwhile, the actor says that work that is destined to come to you, will eventually be yours. “No one takes someone else's work. People who have work, have a lot of it, and those who don't have any work find it tough. I am very choosy about my work, so I have limited options. If something doesn't excite me, then I don't find it interesting. In Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji, the character was not a typical daily soap guy, who was just standing behind and saying lines. There should be something in the script that excites me as an actor. The character Rocky that I played was not a typical saas-bahu character; he was different. Deva is also very different and the show has very good storytelling.
When asked about the competition in the industry Ansh says, "People are destined to get work, and I feel there is no competition because the characters that are meant to be done by me, nobody else can fill. So, there is no insecurity when it comes to work for me."

Rohitashv Gour on playing Tiwariji in the show 'Bhabhiji Ghar par Hain'

While many may feel that it can get monotonous to play the same role in a daily soap, actor Rohitashv Gour says that he still feels motivated to essay the role of Tiwariji in Sanjay and Binaiferr Kohli’s Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai after so many years. He says that this is because the storyline allows him to explore something new everyday.“My daily source of motivation is the excitement to go and perform interesting scenes. The best thing about Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai is that we get to do comedy scenes every day and explore new stories. The motivation lies in discovering what every new story unfolds each day and what we get to do today,” he says.
Talking about how much he relates to his role, he says, “I can completely relate to my character in my show. I've done quite a few comedy shows in the past, and during my time at the National School of Drama, I was involved in many comedy plays featuring characters like these. So, I feel very comfortable doing comedy scenes, especially with characters like this, as they are quite prevalent around us. Characters of this sort from the UP side, with a hearty and genuine vibe, resonate with me a lot, and I share a strong affinity with such roles.”
Comedy is a serious business, he says, adding, “Comedy is indeed a serious business; if you don't approach it seriously, it can become quite challenging because making people laugh is no easy task. The best part of working with producers Sanjay and Binaiferr Kohli is that their interference is minimal. This allows the director and actors to work openly and deliver their best. The channel also plays a significant role in this; they've given a lot of freedom, evident not just in our show but also in Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai, ensuring things are improved and made better according to one's preferences, without imposing unnecessary constraints, which is the best thing.”
Ask which has been his best scene or sequence in the show, and he says, “Recently, I played the role of a disciple of a wrestler, Bhulwa Phelwaan, in a sequence where we were shooting an ad for Vibhuti Ji's dry fruits business at the wrestling arena. The scene turned out to be the best one for me so far, and it has been well-received since it was recently broadcast.”
The TV industry is going through a transition phase where OTT and films seem to have become direct competition. “Television is undergoing significant changes with the rise of OTT platforms, and the emergence of small films on these platforms has rapidly expanded their market. The vast content they offer allows for extensive experimentation, unlike on TV, where there's a more traditional audience expectation. TV restricts experimentation due to certain censor limitations, while OTT platforms provide more creative freedom. Many directors, producers, writers, and cinematographers are engaging in various experiments, leading to the emergence of compelling content. There's intense competition between TV and OTT, at the moment, but the audience for TV remains distinct from that of OTT,” he says.
