Remembering Smita Patil on her death anniversary

Had she been born in Hollywood, she would have reached at the elevated level of Meryl Streep.
One could take lessons in acting from Smita.

Certain actors get kick once they face camera, Smita was one among them! 
When you watch her in a film, you think about her character only not about her at all.

Smita Patil is the only actress in India who ruled at number one at art cinema and at commercial films as well.
Even Shabana was way behind.
But for her untimely death at merely 31 years, Smita would have been number one actress in commercial films also like Rekha, Hema Malini and Sreedevi. 

She finally left art films and started acting in commercial films from 1979 and came successfully in 6 films with Rajesh Khanna and 2 films with Amitabh and so on.
