After the violence in the Mahatma Gandhi road of Jharkhand capital Ranchi, all the districts of Santal Parganas have been instructed to remain alert . Senior administrative and police officials of Deoghar, sub-capital Dumka, Pakur, Sahibganj, Jamtara and Godda districts are constantly monitoring the situation . Police have appealed to maintain peace by taking out flag marches in major sensitive places of various districts including Dumka and Pakur districts. DIG police Sudarshan Mandal of Santal Pargana Region has appealed to the people not to post any kind of incorrect , misleading, false, violent, objectionable and provocative posts on social media platforms such as WhatsApp, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube. All the admins of the groups created on social media should not allow such things to be posted in their respective groups or else legal action will be taken against them. Meanwhile Internet services has been restored on Sunday morning amidst tension and prohibitory orders in Ranchi after violence broke out in the capital on Friday over alleged controversial remarks by suspended Bharatiya Janata Party spokesperson Nupur Sharma and expelled leader Naveen Jindal.
After the ruckus in state capital Ranchi, now the situation is slowly getting back to normal. The movement of people continues as usual, but police forces are stationed everywhere. The administration had imposed section 144 in 12 police station areas of Ranchi. Out of which this section has been removed from 6 areas on Sunday. Section 144 will remain in force in 6 police station areas including Ranchi's Daily Market till further orders. DC Chhavi Ranjan gave this information in a press conference.The main road of Ranchi which witnessed violence on friday is still under the strict vigilance of police and barricading of some of the sensitive areas continues. Meanwhile CM Hemant Soren has ordered an inquiry into the entire matter. A two-member inquiry committee has been constituted for this. Secretary of Disaster Management Department Amitabh Kaushal and ADG Campaign Sanjay Anand Latkar have been included inthe committee . A report has been sought from the inquiry committee in a week.
