Priyanka Alwa Oberoi bunks CCB investigation

After Karnataka Central Crime Branch(CCB) police could not find Aditya Alva, 6th accused in sandalwood drug racket, have issued notice to Vivek Oberoi's wife to come tor an enquiry. As she refused to take the summons, it was sent to her whatsapp account. Priyanka Alwa however not turned up for enquiry at Mumbai. Again CCB is summoning her. As per the CCB, Priyanka Alva did not co-operate with the police during the raid that took place on Thursday.

Priyanka Alwa is the sister of Aditya Alwa, police fear that she might have given shelter to her brother. Meanwhile, Aditya Alva, has approached the court to delink his name in the drug scandal. He has been absconding since September 4, where the case had started making headlines and no details of his whereabouts have emerged with raids also being held at his residence. Two other persons named Shivaprakash Chuppi, and Sheik Faazil are also missing.  Raids in Bengaluru have led to seizure of various drugs. In all, 12 persons have been arrested so far in connection with the case. Actors Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjana Galrani continues to be in Parappaana Agrahara jail with out getting bail

Meawhile , Congress unit of Maharashtra had demended probe into Vivek Oberai and Sndeep Ssingh in alleged illegal derug case..A delegation led by the Maharashtra Congress general secretary and spokesperson Sachin Sawant met state home minister Anil Deshmukh on Friday and demanded to probe the drugs racket in Bollywood.  They also alleged the Central investigating agencies could be deliberately shielding Oberoi and Ssingh. “I had demanded with NCB to investigate the BJP Drug connection in Bollywood.Sawant tweeted.
