She was a popular actor and model, whose social media footprint was over 1 million followers on Instagram.Poonam Pandey was born in Kanpur on March 11, 1991.She made her acting debut with the Hindi film 'Nasha' in 2013.In 2022, she drew wide attention with a stint in the Kangana Ranaut-led reality show "Lock Upp".
The news of Poonam Pandey’s death sent shockwaves across the nation. Her team announced the same via an official announcement on Instagram. "This morning is a tough one for us. Deeply saddened to inform you that we have lost our beloved Poonam to cervical cancer. Every living form that ever came in contact with her was met with pure love and kindness. In this time of grief, we would request for privacy while we remember her fondly for all that we shared ," the statement read. Pandey’s manager said that the actor was diagnosed in the last stage of the dreaded disease sometime ago. Cervical cancer is the second most common cancer among women in India.
