Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday laid the foundation stone, inaugurated and dedicated to the nation multiple development projects worth around Rs 9,400 crore in Hyderabad, aimed at boosting connectivity, industrial growth, logistics efficiency and healthcare infrastructure across Telangana.PM attended the programme at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre in Gachibowli in the presence of Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, Union Minister G Kishan Reddy and several senior leaders.

Among the key projects, the Prime Minister laid the foundation stone for the four-laning of National Highway-167 from Gudebellur to Mahabubnagar on the Hyderabad-Panaji Economic Corridor at a cost of over Rs 3,175 crore. The project is expected to improve road safety, reduce travel time by nearly 90 minutes and strengthen connectivity between Telangana and Karnataka.Modi also laid the foundation stone for the Zaheerabad Industrial Area in Sangareddy district under the Hyderabad-Nagpur Industrial Corridor, being developed as part of the National Industrial Corridor Development Programme. Spread across 3,245 acres and being developed at a cost of over Rs 2,350 crore, the industrial township is expected to attract investments worth nearly Rs 10,000 crore and generate significant employment opportunitiesThe Prime Minister inaugurated the PM MITRA Park, also known as the Kakatiya Mega Textile Park, developed at an estimated cost of around Rs 1,700 crore under the PM MITRA Scheme. The project is India’s first fully functional PM MITRA Park and aims to promote the Centre’s 5F vision — Farm to Fibre to Factory to Fashion to Foreign.The textile park has been designed as an integrated industrial ecosystem with advanced infrastructure, internal road connectivity, power supply and sustainable facilities, including a Common Effluent Treatment Plant with Zero Liquid Discharge technology.
The Prime Minister also dedicated to the nation railway infrastructure projects worth around Rs 1,535 crore, including multiple sections of the Kazipet-Vijayawada multi-tracking project covering 118 km.Officials said the rail projects would improve line capacity on the busy Grand Trunk corridor, reduce congestion and enable faster train movement and freight operations.
Modi further dedicated the Kazipet Rail Under Rail Bypass to the nation, aimed at decongesting Kazipet Junction and improving operational efficiency for trains moving towards Hyderabad, Balharshah and Vijayawada.In the energy sector, the Prime Minister inaugurated Indian Oil Corporation’s Malkapur Terminal Project in Hyderabad, developed at a cost exceeding Rs 600 crore to enhance petroleum product handling capacity and meet rising regional energy demand.The facility has a total tankage capacity of 1,65,000 kilolitres.
In a major healthcare initiative, Modi dedicated the Sindhu Hospital to the nation. The multi-super speciality cancer-focused hospital spread across 2.1 million square feet has 1,500 beds, over 150 consultation rooms and 29 advanced operation theatres.The hospital will provide services including chemotherapy, radiation therapy, cancer surgeries, bone marrow transplants and critical care supported by advanced diagnostic and laboratory infrastructure.
