Labour and Employment Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya on Tuesday highlighted that the recently implemented four labour codes are going to bring positive change in the lives of labourers and workers. Addressing the Labour and Employment Summit 2025 in New Delhi, Mandaviya said that previous labour laws were not in the interest of labour’s welfare, stating it as one-sided and contractual workers are not excluded from the coverage of the Employee Provident Fund, ensuring social security for them. During his address, the Minister asserted that women are permitted to work at night and in all types of work across all establishments, ensuring equal opportunities and wages to earn a higher income.
