Nag Panchami:Nag is the form of God in our culture

Nag panchami celebration is the main feature of Indian life. That is why some festival is celebrated here throughout the year. The effect of these festivals is that whatever the situation in the world, Indian folk life is always full of love, gaiety and Mars. Today is the Panchami Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Sawan month. The festival celebrated on this day is dedicated to the serpents. In the Vedas and Puranas, the origin of the serpents is considered from Maharishi Kashyap and his wife Kadru. The original place of Nagas is famous in Hades. Sanskrit fiction literature, especially in Kathasaritsagar, describes the stories of Nag Lok and the residents there. Many subjects related to Nag are mentioned in texts like Garuda Purana, Bhavishya Purana, Charaka Samhita, Sushruta Samhita, Bhavprakash etc. 
The Puranas describe the description of Yaksha, Kinnar and Gandharva as well as serpents. Nagaraj, the beauty of Lord Vishnu's Shaya himself, enhances Sheshnag. Nagas also have an important role in the ornamentation of Lord Shiva and Ganesha. Not only this, the Kundalini Shakti who is awakened for yoga accomplishment is also called Sarpini. According to the Puranas, Dwadash Nagas are mentioned in the chariot of Lord Surya. These twelve snakes become carriers of their chariots every month. Nag has been accepted in the form of Dev in Indian culture.    
In Indian culture, in the evening, along with Bhagavat remembrance, the names of eternal and vasuki holy serpents are remembered. Which protects the snake from poison and fear. Devi Bhagwat has regularly remembered the major serpents. Our sages and sages have done many fasts and worship in the worship of serpents.
Today is the day of the Panchami Nagas of Shukla Paksha of Shravan month. 
 'नागानामानंदकरी'   
In Nag Puja, there is a law to bathe them with cow's milk. Taking bath with cow's milk gives the serpents cool. At the same time, devotees also get rid of the serpents, it is believed that. In Nag Puja, serpents are painted on earth. Gold, silver, wood or mud makes flowers, smell, incense, lamps and serpents are worshiped with various types of naivedas. And this mantra is pronounced and saluted the serpents.
सर्वे नागाः प्रीयन्तां मे ये केचित् पृथिवीतले। 
ये च हेलिमरीचिस्था ये अंतरे दिवि संस्थिता।।
ये नदीषु महानागा  ये सरस्वतिगामिनः।
ये च वापी तडागेषु तेषु सर्वेषु वै नमः।।

That is, the snakes who live in earth, sky, heaven, sun rays, lakes, gap, follicles and ponds etc.  Everyone should be happy on us. We greet them again and again.  
The righteous country India, with contemplation, gives a vision of soul and divine in mere creature, and experiences unity.
समं सर्वेषु भूतेषु तिष्ठन्तं परमेश्वरम्।
This vision is the only living being, humans, animals, birds, insects, kites all give God to see God. Develops affinity and kindness towards organisms. Therefore, Nag is revered and preserved for us today.  They protect our agricultural wealth from agricultural impartical organisms. He also plays an important role in environment protection and forest wealth. The festival of Nag Panchami inspires the honor to the creatures with the serpents for their promotion and protection. That is why this festival is still relevant to ancient times and tradition
