MP chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav on Tuesday transferred an amount of Rs1,857 crore to more than 1.26 crore Ladli Behnas in the state. This includes more than 324,000 Ladli Behnas from Chhatarpur. Beneficiary sister have received Rs 1,500 in their bank accounts as the 31st installment. So far, Rs46,500 crore has been transferred to the Behnas' accounts under the Chief Minister's Ladli Behna Yojana. Through the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, they are also being provided with pucca houses and Ujjwala gas connections.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced that a new industrial park will be developed in Sagar, which will provide employment opportunities for over 30,000 people. Dr. Yadav was addressing the Ladli Behna Sammelan in Rajnagar, Chhatarpur. Dr. Yadav performed the groundbreaking ceremony for nine development projects worth Rs. 270 crore and inaugurated 20 development projects worth Rs. 240 crore for the all-round development of Bundelkhand. These include two Sandipani schools and a health institution. Four medical colleges will be established in Damoh, Chhatarpur, Panna, and Katni, he said. Khajuraho MP V.D. Sharma and Rajnagar MLA Arvind Pateriya also addressed the gathering.
