The ongoing 77th Primetime Emmy Awards has turned out to be a special night for actress Katherine LaNasa. 'The Pitt' star took home the trophy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series on Sunday, Sept. 14, at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles. According to PEOPLE, LaNasa, who looked emotional on stage, thanked the Academy while holding the golden statuette. She shared how meaningful the honour was for her. "Oh my goodness I am so proud and honored to receive this award from the Academy," she said. "My whole career I wanted to work for John Well and he elevates everything."
LaNasa's win came in a tough category. She was nominated alongside Patricia Arquette (Severance), Carrie Coon (The White Lotus), Julianne Nicholson (Paradise), Parker Posey (The White Lotus), Natasha Rothwell (The White Lotus) and Aimee Lou Wood (The White Lotus).

Veteran actor Jean Smart took home Emmys trophy for Best Lead Actress in a Comedy series for 'Hacks'. In her acceptance speech, she expressed her gratitude to the cast and the entire team of 'Hacks'.
