Karnataka drug case: bail refused to both actress

As the investigation in drug scandal slowed down since last few days, a Bengaluru Court  on Monday refused to give bail for both the actors arrested by CCB. Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjana Galrani were expecting that they may be released from jail after getting bail. But they were disappointed by the judgement as the court refused to give them bail. Earlier in the day, the court heard the arguments of both the sides and decided to extend their judicial custody till Thursday.
Both the cases were heard seperately and lawyers for both the actors pleaded that they are not guilty and police have not properly lodged the FIR's. They asked for grant of bail but it was opposed by government pleader. They argued that the accused have contact with criminals and they feared tampering the evidence. Granting bail to both the actors was strongly opposed. Finally they were refused bail.
Meanwhile, a former cricketer Ayyappa and another Actress Rashmi attended the enquiry conducted by CCB. A TV artist Yogi was also interrogated on Monday.There is a strong indication that drug mafia is also involved in hawala money transactions.
