Mahagauri Shakti is worshiped on the eighth day of Navratri. This form of Mother is the complete form of Gauri.
How to pray mother?
Imagine the image of a mother with 4 arm and vehicle is Taurus. Her upper right hand is abhaya mudra and his lower hand holds the trident. In the upper left hand she is holding a damru and in the lower left hand is the Vara Mudra.  Mother Mahagauri had done severe penance to get Shiva as her husband.
