International Khajuraho Dance Festival begins

International 'Khajuraho Dance Festival-2023' started. The weeklong festival was inaugurated by MP and state BJP unit president Vishnu  Dutt Sharma on Monday at Khajuraho in Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh.

The event started with Bharatanatyam dance, performed by noted dancer Janaki Rangarajan.

On the other hand, Dhirendra Tiwari and Aparajita Sharma presented mesmerizing Kathak dance. On this occasion, 10 people from different arts honoured with MP State Rupankar Kala Puraskar. Famous dancer Prachi Shah also presented a Kathak performanbce. She is from Jaipur Gharana. 

Ustad Alauddin Khan Sangeet evam Kala Academi, Madhya Pradesh Government. Madhya Pradesh Sanskriti Parishad organizes famous Dance Festival at World famous known tourist destination Khajuraho.
