Infosys has announced the development of a cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) Agent designed to digitally transform operations across the energy sector. The AI-driven solution aims to enhance productivity, safety, reliability, and decision-making through advanced data analysis and automation.
The newly developed AI Agent leverages Infosys Topaz, the company’s AI-first platform powered by generative AI technologies, along with Infosys Cobalt, a suite of cloud services and solutions. It also integrates Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI Foundry Models, and ChatGPT-4o, enabling seamless and intelligent processing of real-time operational data.According to Infosys, the AI solution employs conversational AI to transform complex operational data into actionable insights. It automates reporting, provides early warnings of potential disruptions, and helps teams plan more effectively while minimising delays and human errors.“The AI assistant intelligently processes a variety of reports, including well logs, images, plots, and tables, to help streamline operations,” Infosys said in its release. “It also delivers predictive insights and early alerts to anticipate real-time operational challenges, enabling better planning and decision-making.”
