After Imran Khan lost the no-trust vote against his government in Pakistan's National Assembly and was removed from the post of prime minister, his supporters took to the streets on Sunday. At a demonstration in Lahore, Imran Khan's supporters came out in thousands and raised slogans against the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM). PDM is a group of Opposition political parties including the Pakistan Muslim League (N) that worked together to oust Imran Khan. Members of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), headed by Imran Khan, took out rallies in several other cities of Pakistan too on Sunday. This includes Islamabad, Karachi, Peshawar, Malakand, Multan Khanewal, Khyber, Jhang and Quetta.
Never have such crowds come out so spontaneously and in such numbers in our history, rejecting the imported govt led by crooks. pic.twitter.com/YWrvD1u8MM

In a late-night tweet on Sunday, the cricketer-politician said: "Thank you to all Pakistanis for their amazing outpouring of support & emotions to protest against US-backed regime change abetted by local Mir Jafars to bring into power a coterie of pliable crooks all out on bail. Shows Pakistanis at home & abroad have emphatically rejected this."
