Reporter: Sumitraji, today's man has become more conscious about Vastu than before. What is your opinion in this regard?
Dr. Sumitra: People's interest in Vastu has increased a lot these days and when we talk about a survey, the fact came out from the survey that in today's time 89 out of 100 people who buy a new property when enquire over phone, ask - what is the facing of the property and is the property Vastu compliant.
Nowadays, even on the brochure of the property, we find it is mentioned to be "Vastu Compliant". Some other day I will tell you further what is the meaning of Vastu Compliant written on this brochure of property. Vastu compliance as stated by the property dealer, promoter, builder, or broker may not be Vastu complaint for the flat buyer or the plot buyer.
Reporter: Sure ma’am, someday we will take up this topic in detail. Doctor, What do we understand by facing in Vastu?
Dr. Sumitra: The literal meaning of facing is the face. Just as our face has vital importance in our body, in the same way, the face of our property is also very important. For the entry of energy into any plot and maintaining the energy level, its main door i.e. its face is very important. The right face gives miraculous results to the owner of the property.
Reporter: Can we ourselves find out which facing is the property we are living in or want to buy?
Dr. Sumitra: Yes, we can understand the facing of the flat or the plot itself. Whether you take a flat or a house or any vacant land/plot, there is an entry to enter it, which we call the face of that property. Many times it is seen that many people feel difficulty in knowing the face. Let me tell you a simple solution - first of all, go to that place and enter inside and stand in the middle of the property, now turn your face towards that side from where you entered and take compass in your hand, now on which direction your face is facing is the face of this property or the direction of the building. For example, look at the given picture and assume that you are standing on the Brahmasthan in the middle and when you look towards the outside, the sun is rising in front of you, then this building is facing east.
