The Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference, North Gujarat 2025 opened with a grand display of industrial innovation and collaboration at Ganpat University, Mehsana. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Union Minister for Railways, Information and Broadcasting, Electronics and IT Ashwini Vaishnaw inaugurated the Trade Show and Exhibition, launching the two-day event scheduled for October 9-10, 2025.
The inauguration was attended by Finance Minister Kanubhai Desai, Health Minister Rushikesh Patel, and Industries Minister Balvantsinh Rajput, along with senior government officials, industry leaders, and investors. The dignitaries toured the exhibition, which showcased cutting-edge technologies, advanced products, and sector-specific innovations aimed at driving regional and national growth. In his address, Bhupendra Patel highlighted VGRC as a “new milestone” building on the legacy of previous Vibrant Gujarat events under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guidance, positioning the state as a top investment destination. He emphasized regional innovation, enterprise, and technological excellence to foster Viksit Bharat @2047.

In his remarks, Ashwini Vaishnaw stated, “Gujarat’s growth over the last 20 years is being studied by the entire world now… Railway track routes of 2,764 km have been installed in Gujarat in the last 11 years.” He added that this underscores the synergy between central and state initiatives for Viksit Bharat @2047, aligning with the conference’s focus on sustainable development, MSMEs, and emerging sectors such as semiconductors and green energy.

Spanning nearly 18,000 square meters, the Trade Show features over 400 exhibitors from key sectors including agriculture, food processing, renewable energy, and advanced manufacturing. Leading corporates such as Torrent Power, Welspun Group, NHPC Limited, NTPC Limited, Suzlon Energy, Adani Group, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, Power Grid Corporation of India, and Oil and Natural Gas Corporation are participating, highlighting Gujarat’s industrial leadership.
A Vendor Development Program (VDP) is being organized in collaboration with Dudhsagar Dairy, ONGC, Western Railway, and McCain Foods to strengthen industry linkages and empower local MSMEs and startups.The initiative reflects the vision of “Har Ghar Swadeshi, Ghar Ghar Swadeshi,” aiming to unite innovators, entrepreneurs, investors, MSMEs, foreign buyers, and government departments on a single platform. The conference is a key step in advancing the principles of Atmanirbhar Bharat, “Vocal for Local,” and Viksit Bharat through a strong and innovative Gujarat.
Senior officials including Principal Secretary of Industries Department Mamta Verma, Additional Chief Secretary of Energy Department S.J. Haider, and District Collector S.K. Prajapati attended the inauguration alongside industry leaders and investors, underscoring the collaborative spirit of the event.
