Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged the Gen Z and Gen Alpha generations to soar with their dreams, stay focused on principles, and lead India towards developed nation status.Addressing the Veer Baal Diwas programme at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on Friday,Modi said that said that the new policies are being framed with a focus on youth empowerment, placing young people at the center of nation-building. Drawing from the unparalleled bravery of the Sahibzadas — Zorawar Singh and Fateh Singh — the Prime Minister emphasised that age is no barrier to greatness and called on youth to draw inspiration from national ideals.He highlighted resources like the Internet, startup missions, and platforms for focused growth. Modi said that the government is committed to providing better chances to harness their talent, confidence, and leadership. He stressed that strong foundations for a developed India are being laid through significant reforms in the education policy. Prime Minister explained that the new National Education Policy focuses on modern learning methods of the 21st century, emphasizing practical learning, and developing problem-solving skills.

Speaking on the occasion, Women and Child Development Minister Annapurna Devi urged the children to imbibe the ideology of Nation First as the guiding mantra in their lives. She said that with the right opportunities and proper guidance, country’s children can turn even the impossible into reality. She added that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the dream of a Viksit Bharat is taking shape and the citizens of the country are actively participating in the journey of nation-building.
On the occasion, Modi interacted with the 20 awardees of Rashtriya Bal Puraskar. The awards have been conferred in the fields of bravery, innovation, science and technology, sports and arts. During the candid interaction, the Prime Minister heard the life stories of the children.
