French ambassador to India, Emmanuel Lenain, and his team used a novel way to convey Diwali greetings. A heartwarming video posted on Twitter shows the French consulates in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata and other cities of India wising "Happy Diwali" in regional languages.
"Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, the French people join you in celebrating this very important festival. Shubh Deepavali," ambassador Lenain is heard saying in the video.

Diwali was celebrated in India on Saturday. Millions of people across the world joined the celebrations in unique way. A host of world leaders had also sent greetings to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Indian people on the festival of lights.
