Oppn dismisses Exit Polls predictions, says INDIA bloc will form Govt

The Opposition has dismissed all exit polls predictions and said it is certain that the INDIA bloc will form new government at Centre after the counting of votes on June 4.Dismissing the Exit Polls results, Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said Prime Minister Narendra Modi managed the exit polls. “The outgoing PM, the person who will have to leave for sure on June 4, has conspired all these things and has managed the exit polls. There will be a huge difference in exit polls and results of June 4. INDIA alliance had a meeting yesterday and we had detailed discussions on numbers. it's impossible that INDIA alliance will get anything below 295,”  Ramesh said.
The Aam Aadmi Party also dismissed the exit polls results and said it was prepared in the Bharatiya Janata Party’s office. “The exit polls has been prepared in the BJP office. There are many such figures in these exit polls which no one will believe. People are laughing at this. The figures being shown on TV channels do not match the public exit polls at all. We have conducted a survey among the public and it has come out that the India alliance will get more than 295 seats and form the government," AAP leader Sanjay Singh said.
Leaders of the INDIA bloc met at Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge’s residence on Saturday and discussed preparations for counting. The bloc leaders said they will form the government with 295 seats. “INDIA will get 295-plus seats, not less than that. This is our assessment. All the leaders today discussed this before we arrived at this figure. This is people's survey. This is not a 'sarkari' survey where figures are manipulated and their friends in the media hype things up,” Kharge had said.
The Trinamool Congress said they believe in ‘people’s poll’ and not exit polls. "Most of the exit polls had predicted a victory for the BJP in the 2021 assembly elections. But we all know what the actual results were -- TMC won a two-thirds majority. We believe in people's polls, not opinion polls or exit polls. The TMC will win more than 30 Lok Sabha seats in the state," party leader Santanu Sen claimed.
The CPI(M) in West Bengal too declined to attach much importance to the exit polls. "On most occasions, the exit polls or opinion polls don't match. So, we think that we should wait for the actual results to be declared on June 4," CPI (M) leader Sujan Chakraborty said. Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut dismissed the exit polls results as 'corporate game'. "This is a corporate game. If tomorrow we are in power and if we have a lot of money then we can also come up with whatever figure we want. INDIA alliance is going to form the government by winning 295-310 seats... In Maharashtra, we are going to win 35+ seats," ANI reported quoting Raut.
