CBI named Aaditya, Rhea, Dino, Ex-CP in Disha Salian death case

CBI on Monday registered an FIR in the Disha Salian death case, the former manager of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, following an order of the Bombay high court and named Aaditya Thackeray, Rhea Chakraborty, Dino Morea and Sooraj Pancholi among those whose roles require investigation. The FIR also names Uddhav Thackeray, Showik Chakraborty, Sachin Waze, ex-Mumbai police commissioner Param Bir Singh and others. The document also names former state home minister Anil Deshmukh, several police officers, forensic officials, doctors and other individuals. 
"The then chief minister Uddhav Thackeray, father of Aaditya Thackeray, and others also played a significant role in the conspiracy and subsequent cover-up. The concerned public servants and police officers are also liable to be investigated for destruction or suppression of case papers, files and other public records, fabrication of official records, and misuse of public funds, manpower and police machinery for unlawful purposes and for shielding the offenders,” the FIR stated. It also named officers associated with Malvani Police Station, doctors and staff involved in the postmortem, officials of the Forensic Science Laboratory in Kalina, security guards of Regent Galaxy Building, members of the special investigation team and other unidentified persons.The FIR lists several other individuals and unidentified persons whose roles, it says, require investigation in connection with the alleged offences and the subsequent alleged cover-up.

Salian was found dead on June 8, 2020, after falling from a building in Mumbai. Her death came days before Rajput was found dead at his residence in Bandra on June 14. Salian’s death had earlier been recorded as an Accidental Death Report (ADR). Salian had briefly worked as Sushant's manager. The actor was found dead at his Bandra residence on June 14, 2020, six days after Salian’s death.
Following the court's direction, Salian’s father, Satish Salian, said he had shared details of the circumstances surrounding his daughter’s death with investigating authorities and expressed confidence that the probe would begin soon.Salian’s death had remained a subject of public and political debate, particularly because of its timing shortly before Rajput’s death. The fresh CBI investigation will now examine the circumstances surrounding her death and the concerns raised by her family.
