Actor Celina Jaitly has filed a domestic violence complaint in a Mumbai court alleging that she has suffered severe emotional, physical, sexual and verbal abuse at the hands of her Austrian husband Peter Haag. The plea came up for hearing on Tuesday before judicial magistrate S C Tadye, who issued a notice to Haag and posted the matter for hearing on December 12. Jaitly, in her application filed through Karanjwala & Co law firm, accused Haag of domestic violence, cruelty and manipulation under provisions of the Domestic Violence Act.Celina Jaitly has sought damages of Rs50 crores and other sums in lieu of her loss of source of income and properties.

Celina and Peter have three sons. She married the Austrian entrepreneur and hotelier in 2011. They became parents to twin boys in 2012, whom they named Winston and Viraaj. She gave birth to a second set of twin boys Shamsher and Arthur in 2017. Shamsher, passed away due to a heart condition.
The plea adds that Haag filed a divorce application in an Austrian court in August this year. Jaitly has requested the court to direct Haag to pay Rs 50 crore as compensation for the abuse she alleges. Jaitly has also sought Rs 10 lakh per month as maintenance, stating that she requires financial support and stability after leaving Austria and her shared home. Celina’s plea also expresses her deep concern as a mother. She has sought access to her three children, who are currently living with Haag in Austria.
