Jharkhand:President interacts with tribal women Self Help Groups

In Jharkhand, President Droupadi Murmu interacted with the tribal women Self Help Groups (SHGs) at Khunti on Thrusday in a conference organised by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs. President praised the efforts of tribal women who have scripted new success stories through active participation program in SHGs. President said that tribal women have become more empowered than women of other states. President also visited various stalls which exhibited products made from forest produce by tribal women SHGs. She said that the women have achieved the true sense of Atmanirbharta.

Union Minister of Tribal Affairs Arjun Munda said that it is an honour for the tribal ministry as the President praised the works of these tribal women SHGs.
