Battle of RezangLa celebrated with patriotic fervor

Diamond Jubilee of the Battle of RezangLa celebrated with patriotic fervor on Friday.The Battle of RezangLa, showed the tenacity and valour of the soldiers of ‘Charlie Company of 13 Kumaon Regiment of Indian Army. 120 brave soldiers of C Company stood between the Ladakh and waves of well equipped Chinese Army. In the battle 114 have died fighting. The bravery of C Company of 13 Kumaon regiment in this battle forced China to declare the ceasefire. To mark the celebrations of 60th year of the Battle of RezangLa, Defence secretary  Giridhar released an envelope. He also visited the RezangLa war museum. Fire and Fury GOC Lt Gen Anandya Sengupta, Uniform Forces GOC MjrGen V Hariharan, 14 Corps Chief of Staff Mjr Gen MS Mokha and Commanding Officer of 13 Kumain Regiment on behalf of all the ranks and officers paid homage to the 114 martyrs on November 18, 2022.
