Chaitra Shukla Purnima and the birth anniversary of the devotee and servant of Lord Shri Ramchandra ji, Shri Hanuman ji are being celebrated on Tuesday(Today). Therefore, today Hanuman ji should be worshiped with devotion. Those who observe fast, should observe celibacy and sleep on the earth, and wake up in the morning and remember Lord Hanuman along with Shri Ram and Mother Sita. Install the idol of Lord Hanuman and worship him duly with the mantra Om Hanumate Namah.
On this day, recitation of Sunderkand from Valmiki Ramayana or Shri Ramcharitmanas written by Goswami Tulsidas or recitation of Shri Hanuman Chalisa should be organised. The idol of Lord Hanuman should be decorated with vermilion. This is called offering chola. As naivedya, jaggery, soaked gram or roasted gram or gram flour laddu should be offered. thereafter Prasad should be accepted.According to the story, Rudravataar, Mahavir Hanuman himself was born as a part of Vayu. Their main objective was to serve Lord Shri Ram Ji and Mata Janaki Ji. His father was Vanar Raj Kesari and mother Anjana Devi. He became hungry at the time of birth. Seeing this, Mother Anjana went to bring fruits from the forest.
On the other hand, child Hanuman jumped considering the sun to be a red fruit at the time of sunrise and reached the solar system with the speed of air, at the same time Rahu also came near to swallow the sun. Shri Hanuman ji in child form considered Rahu to be an obstacle and pushed him, due to which Rahu got scared and went to Indra. Considering it to be a disturbance in the order of creation, Indra attacked child Hanuman with a thunderbolt, due to which Hanuman ji's left chin was broken.
In this situation, due to the thunderbolt striking the son, Vayu Dev became extremely angry and stopped the air circulation. Air is the life support of the entire world. Seeing this situation, Lord Brahma along with all the gods reached the place where Vayu Dev was sitting with the unconscious baby Hanuman. Lord Brahma alerted baby Hanuman with the touch of his hand.
At the same time all the gods equipped him with their weapons. While giving the boon, Brahma ji said, O Maruti Nandan, this son of yours will be terrible for the enemies, and no one will be able to win him in the war. When this child grows up, he will attain the happiness of Lord Shri Ramchandra ji by showing amazing bravery in the battle with Ravana.
