PM Modi gifts Russian edition of Bhagavad Gita to Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin received a Russian translation of the Gita from Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a private dinner hosted by the PM on Thursday. The Russian edition is among several global-language translations of the scripture that continue to find readership among scholars, spiritual practitioners, and cultural enthusiasts internationally.The Prime Minister’s official residence at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg, was decorated with India–Russia flags and special lighting on Thursday evening, as PM Modi hosted Putin for a private dinner shortly after the latter arrived in Delhi.

The Russian edition is among several global-language translations of the scripture that continue to find readership among scholars, spiritual practitioners, and cultural enthusiasts internationally.
