Prime Minister Narendra Modi met those injured in the Red Fort blast at Delhi's Lok Nayak Jai Prakash (LNJP) Hospital on Wednesday, immediately after returning from Bhutan. The blast at one of the national capital's iconic tourist spots left 10 dead and over 20 injured. He enquired about their treatment, and wished them a speedy recovery. The Prime Minister was also briefed by doctors and senior officials on the medical condition of the injured. PM Modi individually met and interacted with the injured and wished them a speedy recovery. He was also briefed by officials and doctors at the hospital."Went to LNJP Hospital and met those injured during the blast in Delhi. Praying for everyone's quick recovery. Those behind the conspiracy will be brought to justice!" PM Modi tweeted. Multiple agencies - including the NIA, Delhi Police Special Cell, and state anti-terror units - are conducting raids across Delhi-NCR, Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh.
Meanwhile, under the scanner after the Delhi blast, Al Falah University in Haryana's Faridabad on Wednesday said it has only a professional association with the two of its doctors arrested in connection with the incident and is anguished by the unfortunate developments. While distancing itself from the terror-linked doctors, the University in a statement asserted that it is a responsible institution and stands in solidarity with the nation. "We are deeply saddened and anguished by the unfortunate developments that took place and condemn the same. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the innocent people affected by these distressing events," a statement issued by University Vice Chancellor Prof (Dr.) Bhupinder Kaur Anand said
