Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that in last four years his government has worked for the overall development of the state and now after coming out from stage of BIMARU status, UP is moving on the path of progress. He said that guidance of Prime Minister and the team work of colleagues and officers is behind this success. Yogi Adityanath said that by the end of this year people of Bundelkhand will be getting clean drinking water under Jal Jeevan mission. Yogi Adityanath has completed four years in office and on the occasion he addressed the media in Lucknow along with Deputy Chief Ministers and BJP state president Swatantra Dev Singh on Friday.
He said that during tenure of earlier governments it was not possible to celebrate any festival in the state but now he can proudly state that no riots took place in the last four years and anyone can celebrate their festivals peacefully. Talking about some major achievements of his government in last four years Yogi Adityanath said that, in 2015-16 the state was at 14th position in attracting investments and now it has jumped to 2nd position. Also The Per capita income of the people of state got doubled in these 4 years. A 64-page booklet on achievements was also released. Hitting back at the Opposition over its charge of deteriorating law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said his government's zero-tolerance policy towards crime and criminals has shown positive results in the past four years.
