Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) National President, N. Chandrababu Naidu, has expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for addressing the needs of Andhra Pradesh in the Union Budget for the financial year 2024-25, adding that this support will go a long way towards rebuilding Andhra Pradesh. In a statement, Naidu praised the budget for its focus on crucial projects and areas in Andhra Pradesh.TDP leader and Andhra Pradesh minister Nara Lokesh has said people of Andhra are grateful to PM Modi for the allocation of Rs 15,000 crore for Amrawati.Union Minister from TDP Ram Mohan Naidu said the budget has delivered on the expectations of the people of Andhra Pradesh.
Union Minister and JDU leader Rajiv Ranjan Singh welcomed the budget. He said the budget has a host of packages of Bihar ranging from infrastructure development to tourism.Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar called it a positive budget. In this budget, special attention has been paid to the needs of Bihar, he said. Kumar also said,along with this, special assistance has been announced in the budget for the development of tourist places in Bihar and to protect Bihar from floods.
JDU said PM Modi deserves commendation. UPA used to reject all our demands. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced special package of Rs15,000 crore for Andhra Pradesh to build the capital and Rs 26,000 crore allotted to Bihar for infrastructure projects.Centre will support the development of an industrial nod at Gaya in Bihar. Backward region grant to be provided to three backward parts of Andhra Pradesh. New Medical Colleges, Sport Infra, Airports will be setup in Bihar.
Sitharaman said, "On the Amritsar-Kolkata industrial corridor we will support the development of an industrial nod at Gaya in Bihar. We will also support the construction of road connectivity projects namely Patna-Purnia Expressway, BuxarBagalpur Expressway, Bodhgaya-Rajgir-Vaishali-Darbanga and an additional two-lane bridge over river Ganga at Buxar at a total cost of Rs 26,000 cr." "Power projects, including setting up of a new 2400 megawatt power plant at Pirpainti, will be taken up at a cost of Rs 21400 crore," she added.
