An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.1 on the Richter scale struck Nepal on Tuesday morning, with tremors felt in Delhi-NCR and other parts of North India, including several areas in Bihar. According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the earthquake occurred at 6:35 am, 93 km northeast of Lobuche, neart the Nepal-Tibet border.

A report from Nepal said , the quake was also experienced in Dhading, Chitwan, Sindhupalchok, Kavre, and Makwanpur districts.
