The Assam Cabinet has approved investment proposals worth Rs 7730 crore from various investors. The MoUs were signed during the Advantage Assam 2.0 in February this year. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday announced in Guwahati about the cabinet decisions. Cabinet meeting lasted for six hours. The Government approved incentives to 14 companies who'll invest over Rs7208cr in the state. Assam rolled out the IIPA, 2019 to offer customised incentives to companies investing over Rs 100cr in the State, Sarma said,

CM Sarma said that Assam Police can apply National Security Act (NSA) on those people who are praising Pakistan while living in India.

Sarma also said that now Assam Congress leaders are also exposing their Pakistan Return MP. Some are writing posts, while others are saying - "What is wrong in going to Pakistan?"
