President of Singapore Tharman Shanmugaratnam held a wide range of discussions with President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi on Thursday evening. The discussions covered avenues for further strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership between India and Singapore. During the meeting, President Murmu and President Shanmugaratnam unveiled a joint logo to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. The joint logo incorporates colours from the Indian and Singaporean national flags and national flowers, which symbolize the enduring friendship, mutual trust, and shared values between the two countries. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also met the President of Singapore. During the meeting, they extensively reviewed the bilateral partnership and also exchanged views on regional and global issues of mutual interest.

In addition, Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, Health Minister J P Nadda, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal, Electronics and Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and Skill Development Minister Jayant Chaudhary also called on the visiting leader.
